The Situation:

Willow Valley Retirement Communities is a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Lancaster, PA and is home to more than 2300 residents from 37 states. Residents are sophisticated, upscale and well-traveled, but the Welcome Center didnt match their profile or expectations.

The Solution:

A community display area inspired by how residents arrived at this amazing destination and is a journey in itself. Based on a deep understanding of current and future residents, and recognizing the gradual shift in age that will occur over the next decade, as the Silent Generation is joined by Baby Boomers, Creating Results designed a mix of traditional and multimedia displays. Curved walls transform an otherwise typical rectangular room and create a welcoming pathway for visitors.  Multimedia screens and an interactive site plan introduce the broad product offerings, lifestyle, amenities, and rich programming.

The Welcome Center now appeals to all five senses. You can feast your eyes on the work of local authors and painters, along with resident artwork.  Hear a thrilling performance from the Cultural Center. Add your states peg to a map showing the home states of Willow Valley residents. Or, grab hold of a community Journal that lets residents share experiences theyve enjoyed, such as day trips or excursions abroad.
